10 Sonia Hartman

Bowl designer Sonia (far left) took husband (below left) and bowls  to Hinckley for a meal with two old (ie of long standing) friends.
(By the way, that’s not a halo round Steve’s head – just the reflection of the mirror - though he might argue the case...)
Tim (centre) was the host and chef. Mike travelled from Norfolk to join us for the occasion.

The menu was a starter of smoked salmon AND smoked mackerel, served with fresh bread and mixed leaves.
The main course was roast chicken with a wonderful variety of vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. (Well, why not?!! We like ‘em!)

The bowls were used to serve the vegetables.
They were then washed up and used for dessert – but we’d had some wine by then and forgot to take any more photos!
A good time was had by all.

‘Aha!’ I hear you cry. that’s you and only TWO others! What about the fourth bowl?!’   Well, read on...

The bride’s parents sent a small gift of some very yummy biscuits. They were so light and delicate, you couldn’t stop at one (or 2, or 3, or...)
The bowl was put to good use and I gradually got better at explaining DISHINIT in polish.

The day after the wedding, the family got together. More eats and drinks of course...the bowl was around somewhere...
