49 Gay Hoban
Barbara, my sister.
We occasionally have meals at each other's house, especially her's when there is a family celebration. She has a husband, Antony and three grown-up sons who are all fine young men. It is always a pleasure to share a meal with her and hear tales of her grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin, Jonathan and Catherine, as well as talking about places she and Antony have visited.

Beth, a friend I met at the acapella singing group, Loud Mouth Women, almost four years ago. Beth still attends, along with playing accompaniments for Black Dog Molly, a Morris Dance troupe. She has many accomplishments, including painting, needlework and cookery. She is also the mother of two grown-up daughters and grandmother to Kyle. She is a pillar of her community, a trait which her daughters have inherited.

My friend since school days, Ursula, along with husband, John and youngest daughter, Lucy, to whom I am god mother. Ursula has combined looking after her family with furthering her career in Health Visiting, juggling many balls at once! She has always been a true bastion of support for me, giving incisive comment on conversations of an educational nature between John and myself. Lucy is the last of her brood to go through the education system and with many strings to her bow, has the world at her feet.
